Baby Driver movie and soundtrack review

Last week I have seen the movie Baby Driver and it is awesome! Hence this post is a Baby Driver movie and soundtrack review.

The movie

Baby Driver movie

Baby Driver is about a boy who is called Baby. Not only he likes to wear sunglasses, but he likes to wear headphones as well. Initially, you see that Baby is a driver and he picks up clients and drives away. To tell the truth, he does a great job, much less to say, he drives extremely fast. It turns out that he works for a guy named Doc. Then,  Baby meets this girl and he decides to go after her. Ah young love! Due to the fact that he finds love, he soon finds himself in a dilemma. So does Baby wants to keep on working for Doc, or does he for a different path?

The soundtrack

What is a movie without a good soundtrack? Luckily, Baby Driver has a lot of awesome tracks, hence I have placed a pre-order on the vinyl. But you can also buy the CD if you don’t have a record player.

Do you notice something on the tracklist? The funny thing is that the soundtrack has a lot of tracks which include the name Baby in the title. Additionally, there are a lot of oldies on this soundtrack, which I truly love.

To start with Ansel Elgort, he is well cast as Baby. In fact, he is witty and funny in the movie. Therefore, I think he is a bright young talent for Hollywood. On the other hand I found Lily James lacked some spark. Due to the fact that she is older than Baby, you would assume she is more mature. However, I think she wasn’t as convincing as she was in her other role, where she acted as Cinderella. Lastly, Kevin Spacey does a great job as Doc. As was previously stated, the movie is awesome! It has a lot of action and funny scenes. To make a long story short, I like the movie a lot. Subsequently, the soundtrack is great along with the movie. All the songs fits the movie well and as a result of this, the songs makes the movie even better.
