Guacamole fries of Bik Frietwerk

Last week I had the Guacamole fries of Bik Frietwerk. I am a huge fan of guacamole, so this is the perfect dish for me. Today I will write a review about the guacamole fries of Bik Frietwerk.

Bik Frietwerk

A few weeks ago I went to Bik Frietwerk in The Hague for the first time. It is a new restaurant in the city centre of The Hague. They offer a lot of interesting types of fries, for example fries with pulled pork or fries with meat balls. When you place an order at Bik Frietwerk, they will give you a buzzer. When the fries are done, the buzzer will beep and then it’s time to enjoy!

This is the Bik Guacamole, it is a vegetarian dish. It has a tricolor topping with home made guacamole, sweet cherry tomatos, sour cream, a basil leaf and garlic fries. It looks good, doesn’t it? Trust me, it is delicious. The first few bites are quite interesting, because usually you eat guacamole along with nacho chips. But the guacamole fries are really good, the home made guacamole is yummy. Along with the fries I ordered some apple juice.

The interior of Bik Frietwerk is pretty simple, but nice! I really like the paper lantern lamps. The restaurant is pretty dark inside, mainly because of the dark colored walls and dimmed lights. It feels like you are sitting in a bar.

When you enter the restaurant, you will pass by the fridge and on the wall above you can see the menu. If the weather is nice, you can also sit on the benches in front of the restaurant.

Bik Frietwerk is located at the Turfmarkt 228 in The Hague. They have a lot of different types of fries on their menu. I think the mango mayonaise is quite special, I tried a bit of it the last time and it is pretty interesting. You can visit the website of Bik Frietwerk here.
