Spider-Man: Homecoming movie review

Spider-Man: Homecoming

Spider-Man is a superhero movie from Marvel Comics. This is the third Spider-Man reboot with Tom Holland in the lead. The first Spider-Man series features 3 movies with Tobey Maguire and the second reboot has 2 movies with Andrew Garfield.

In the Spider-Man: Homecoming movie Peter Parker returns home after spending time with the Avengers. Peter lives with his aunt May, who is played by Marisa Tomei.

Peter is an intern of Tony Stark, aka Iron Man. Tony gives Peter a new suit, but orders him to go back to school. Of course Peter still wants to catch the bad guys in the neighborhood, so he sneaks out every night to be Spider-Man.

Meanwhile Peter secretly likes this girl from his class, but comes across with his new villain. Can Spider-Man beat his new enemy?

My thoughts on Spider-Man

Spider-Man: Homecoming

I am not going to spoil the whole movie for you guys, but there are some things I want to comment on. Tom Holland is a cute young actor and he does a great job as Spider-Man. But unfortunately I think the movie itself has a weak plot. The previous Spider-Man movies has a lot of action scenes and some great villains.

In the Spider-Man: Homecoming movie not a lot of big things are happening. I think I expect more from this reboot, because I have seen the other Spider-Man movies. To be honest, the Spider-Man: Homecoming movie does not touch me as the Amazing Spider-Man series. Compared to all 3 Spider-Man series I have to admit that I like the Amazing Spider-Man series by Andrew Garfield the best.
